About Kwolyin

Kwolyin Creative Works is a Perth-based timber craft brand built around a simple idea: WA timber, given another life.

The name Kwolyin comes from Kwolyin Hill in the WA Wheatbelt, where I was born and raised. My family farmed there for several generations, and I was the last generation to work the land before the farm was sold after some tough years of drought, flooding, and poor prices.

Even after leaving, my heart has always belonged to Kwolyin. The name carries a connection to the Wheatbelt, to family, to hard work, and to the country that shaped me.

Through Kwolyin Creative Works, I make handcrafted boards, brewware, and selected custom pieces from recycled, salvaged, and sustainably sourced WA timber. The aim is to turn character-filled timber into practical pieces made for kitchens, bars, breweries, homes, gifts, and gatherings.

Every piece has a story – where the timber came from, what it has been through, and what it becomes next.
